In a residential neighborhood, there lived a black cat. Her name is Molly. She lives in the Jones family’s house. Molly always catches and eats the mice which like stealing the food in the Jones family’s kitchen.
Molly is a cute and adorable cat. Her eyes are green and her long whiskers are white. She likes snoring and she likes to be stroked.
But nobody in Jones family likes to stroke Molly. The two children of Jones don’t really like animals and Mrs. Jones often snaps at Molly if she meows when Mrs. Jones cooks fish.
In the side of Jones family’s house, there lived a boy named Billy. Billy is a nice boy and he loves animal very much. Because of that he also loves Molly very much. Every afternoon Molly jumps from the Jones family’s fence to look for Billy and she asks to be stroked. “I will be very happy if she is my cat,” said Billy to his mother. “I want a cat too Mom!” Billy’s mother doesn’t want to keep animals in her home although she also likes Molly.
One day, Jones family goes to country. When they get ready to go, Jones’ children say good bye to Billy. They will go on holiday for a month.
After put all the things into the cab, Jones family leaves the house. “Molly must go with them too,” thought Billy. But he is wrong. She is very shocked seeing Molly in the yard of Jones family’s house. Billy tells this situation to his mother. “They must have asked someone to take care of Molly and feed her every day,” said Billy’s mother.
